This is an old piece I dug up. Since it's not dated, I have to guess it's from about 2001. This clown was in the Ringling Brothers Circus February 2000. Yeah, I guess he is a little scary.
It is a very nice painting. That clown happens to be me. I was with Ringling Bros from 1996-2002, and I am not very scary. I can see how some people think clowns can be scary though. Alot of times its the parents that force an awkward or difficult situatiuon wanting a picture or for their children to "grab his nose".
To little ones we are very loud, brightly decorated and can be overwhelming. But you cant use that to be scared your whole life.
